I’m trained in all aspects of professional translation through the Translator’s Studio, including terminology research, editing, proofreading, quality assurance, punctuation and CAT tools.
I studied in Mexico and Spain, and lived in Paris for three years.
My interest in languages and cultural relations led me to work at the British Council in London for eight years, coordinating a range of programmes and projects. These included the Spanish Language Assistants programme. I was also Assistant Head of the CEO and Chair’s Office, during which time I was seconded to the Mexico office.
I have excellent attention to detail and care about accuracy, consistency and clarity, always reaching for the highest standards of written communication.
A lifelong language, translation and grammar enthusiast, I have had my nose in dictionaries since the age of 12!
