About me

• I’m trained in all aspects of professional translation through the Translator’s Studio, including terminology research, editing, proofreading, quality assurance, punctuation and CAT tools.

• I studied in Mexico and Spain, and lived in Paris for three years.

• My interest in languages and cultural relations led me to work at the British Council in London for eight years, coordinating a range of programmes and projects. These included the Spanish Language Assistants programme. I was also Assistant Head of the CEO and Chair’s Office, during which time I was seconded to the Mexico office.

• I have excellent attention to detail and care about accuracy, consistency and clarity, always reaching for the highest standards of written communication.

• A lifelong language, translation and grammar enthusiast, I have had my nose in dictionaries since the age of 12!
